Thanksgiving Day!

Do you know the Thanksgiving Day? This day means in Japanese "感謝祭".　It is in America and Canada. The day is off day and American and Canadian eat Turkey and Apple or Panpkin Pie! The day depends on the country.

The Date:4th Thursday on November

*Canada*
The Date: 2nd Monday on October.




This Festival degan in 1621 because in this year there are lots of crops. So the citizen appliciate it Got and people had a food party with thanks for Got!People invite their family, relatives and friends! They have a big party and enjoy! So every year every traffics are crash!





*Food*

In this day, people certainly eat Turkey with gravy sauce, is dravy of cooked meat, or Cranberry sauce. It's main dish.

As side dish, people eat sweet potates, mashed potates, deviled egg, corn on the cob or hominy, green beans, peas and carrots, wheat flour bread rolls and so on. But it deoends on the family.

As desert, people eat Apple pie or Panpkin Pie.
